I agree completely. Life is too short to have only one PCP. I settled on five. And a couple of pistols but they don't count. Really, it's fine. Well I might need one or two more now that I think about it. :)

Pistols don’t count!!!

Remember that. It got me out of trouble the first time I said that to my wife.
Problem was that I was dumb enough to use it a second time…

That's a super bummer...way to much money to be having leaks so early on. How is their customer service?

Yea definitely a bummer, a huge inconvenience. I haven't reached out to rti directly, just the dealer. He said its possibly the valve i think. I need to call back again and see how it will be handled.

here's the Texas regulations for PCP Air guns:

In Texas, pre-charged pneumatic air guns are legal for hunting deer, but they must meet specific requirements. These guns must fire a projectile of at least .30 caliber with a minimum weight of 150 grains and a muzzle velocity of at least 800 feet per second, or any combination of bullet weight and muzzle velocity that produces at least 215 foot-pounds of energy. Additionally, hunters using air guns must comply with all other hunting regulations, including licensing and hunter education requirements.

I think you might be better off getting 2 guns, a cheap Plinker (.22 Notos) for the small stuff and a Big bore (.35 - .50) for the big stuff.
I'm in Texas also, but I have lots of PCP's from .22 to .50, if I hunt deer I'll use my .457 Texan or the .510 Hammer, My .357 shin sung Fire is not enough power to meet Texas regulations.

Recommended airguns meeting Texas regulations

So you you want a gun that is good for mice (4 FPE) to deer/hog (250 FPE).
There is no single gun that is capable of that... You need to consider two guns. Get a .22 cal that can be easily adjusted and a .357 and up in caliber if you are wanting into the 250+ range in FPE.

I think I will invest in two different guns. FYI I do shoot mice with way higher than 4fpe and hog with less than 250. Thanks!

A cheap small Carbine like the Umarex Notos is perfect for smaller critters, it's .22 cal, light weight and compact, very accurate with cheap Crosman Premier Domes or Hollow points, I shoot lots of Squirrels with mine, or it's big brother the Umarex Zelos in .25 cal, takes down Raccoons nicely, it's got enough power to take a Hog, just some suggestions,

The notos seems to be liked by some people but it's like a young pre I don't know 15yrs old rifle to me . I would instantly out grow it also my hatsan jet fulfills my need for something like a notos. The zelos is a platform I could work with but I feel like it lacks the power that's available in some of the other options. I'm leaning towards a impact or maverick , rti mora, slash in 30cal and for my big power one of the aea models they seem to be king of the big power on a budget . I am appreciating the feedback I'm getting. Its a hard decision and I think it will come down to who has the best costumer service and parts availability. Talon tunes, pellet shop? There's others i don't know about yet I'm sure.

Well I started with an Aselkon which lasted a little over a year before it started leaking. After discovering there’s literally no support for the USA , I sold it. Not wanting to repeat this scenario , I purchased Fx Impact m3 in 30 caliber. That was followed by a RAW HM 1000 x in 22 caliber. Then my most recent air rifle is a Skout Epoch Compact in 30 caliber.

I switched everything up again but have a 3 set I plan to keep around amd a 4th that may or may not stick around.
FX M3 600mm .25
Uragan 2 .177
Daystate Revere safari .22 unregulated
The tossup Evanix Cloud Ultra .25 semiauto that will be going to veradium air for an upgrade, we will see after the upgrade. Lol
