NEW Pard 008s-LRF Day/Night Scope and it Looks Promising

This video is from the recent British Shooting Show 2022.

The new Pard008s-LRF sports a:

  • ballistic calculator - the calculator has multiple savable profiles (five total I believe)
  • new body design - the IR and LRF are now located on the side of the body and stacked on top of one another. The unit appears to have a lower profile. Battery compartment is also on the side. And there’s a small pic-rail mount in the side.
  • A foldable throw lever
  • First focal plane reticle option

I’m sure I’m leaving out some improved features or recent additions and I’m not sure on the price point. I haven’t seen much info online yet. My info comes from YouTube. Looks like some promising improvements to an NV unit that has already proven efficient.

I found one on AGN Pard 008-LRF and I like it over the ATN 4K, the picture & picture on the screen is great for me some people don’t like it.

Looks a little strange mounted on a Daystate

I found a .PDF manual for the older 008P version of the scope and it was really weak. There were no pictures of the reticles or much of anything else. I don't mean to seem negative as this new version has my interest but the company really seems to do nothing to promote them.

@B_y_r_o_n Pards are Chinese-made products. I own an older unit and the instructions for it were pretty much what one would expect of a Chinese-made product where providing a coherent translation (to English) for the instruction manual didn’t appear to be a major priority of the manufacturer. The units work pretty well and that seems to be where the manufacturer excels.

My info on this new unit comes from the UK. The air gunners over them seem to really be into night vision gear and it appears to me that the new unit may have been marketed to them first. I’m not sure, but this is my suspicion. Based upon that premise I think you may find more info by searching other forums that are UK based or night vision centric for more information on the new Pard 008s-LRF. Aside from that we’re in the same boat as far as anticipating more information. I’m not even sure if the new Pards have hit retailers just yet. I literally came across some month old information and thought I’d share because it looked interesting and I’m somewhat familiar with the brand.

I hope they change there base power. 6.5 base power is useless at close range. 2 to 3 power max min power. That's whay sightmark came out with 2x and 3x real fast after realised the 4x is too much for most people. My 4 x sightmark wraith is awesome at 100yards to real far away. Useless under 50 yards. My 2 cents😀
