New owner of a 2300S Review

The last time I shot a CO2 gun was over 50 years ago. Here's my humble opinion of the 2300S: I like the grips they are comfortable for me and I they look good. Trigger I like it, its not as nice as my P-3 I would say its compatible to my Browning Buck Mark Target. Fit and finish is ok. The CO2 shooting capacity is incredible! My first one was Made in China (bought directly from Crosman) I got 95 shots with it; the second one was Made in Korea (bought it from PA) I got 100 shots. I'm new to this so correct me if Im doing something wrong, I continued shooting until I saw the pellet dropping from my POA. At 7 yards iron sight resting I consistently had a group the size of a nickel 95 shots mostly resting I would say about 25 standing free hand and still put them inside the nickel. At 15 yards iron sights mostly resting with about 30 free hand kept them inside 2.5 inches. I was impressed. Now for the what the heck Crosman!!! The sights that they are trying to market as a selling feature are a little wacky: the rear sight looks like its tilting to the left and the front sight looks like its tilting to the right!?!? I let someone at the range try it and he said he believes front sight is the only one tilting to the right giving the optical illusion the rear is tilting??? I don't know I think its bought of them?? Owners of 2300S has anyone had the same experience with wacky sights?? All in all I like the gun Im just going to have to figure out what's going on with them sights .

What makes you think one was made in China and one in Korea?

Its printed on the boxes. I've read where some have not had luck with the ones made in China. I'm new to the CO2 scene I thought the CO2 cartridges were made by Crosman since they have Built In America on their website when you look at the CO2, not true, at least the ones they sent me said Made In China on the box.

Hmm, I think I might have found the problem. I loosened the bottom tiny set screw on the muzzle brake and removed the muzzle brake. I noticed on the barrel there's a flat spot where Im assuming the set screw should be instead it was on the opposite side??? Weird?? I would think the set screw should be on the flat side of the barrel and not the rounded side:confused:. I rotated the brake so slightly to line it up. I'll recheck to see if the sights line up better when I have better light.
