New Multi-Hits video

Your video work, both in images and narration, keeps getting better and better, Bob. As much as anyone I've watched, and more than most, you capture the precision and professionalism of ethical hunting/pesting as well as the essence of the places in which you shoot. Whether it's a cave-dark abandoned silo or a beautiful morning on a farm graced by majestic raptors, you bring us all along with you in your video adventures. That, my good man, is rare and wonderful. Keep it up!

Cool Vid Bob.

Most female birds of prey are larger than their male counterparts. Carrying eggs, they need a larger body. Although having a black beak doesn't seem like a Bald Eagle description. It could very well be a Golden Eagle, but I don't think their beaks are black either.

Do ya think that the eagles being carrion eaters are feasting on some of you kills? I mean they do eat fish, but are well known for eating dead stuff left layin around.

Revo,

According to the farmer, who most often gets to this farm at day break, the eagles fly low over the cattle feeding area and pick up the pigeons that I don't retrieve.

While I do grab the ones at the base of the silo, when they end up out with the cows, I don't go and get them. The cows at this place are pretty aggressive.

He loves seeing the eagles there and has asked me to throw all the pigeons and squirrels I get out where the eagles will see them. One if these times I'll get out there super early .....as I'd like to get some footage of them close up.

Yeah that'd cool to see those eagles munching on one of your kills. I have had Cooper's hawks swoop in on a few pigeons that I have downed directly after I shot them. Almost like they were watching. Glad to feed those guys, raptors are awesome. Most of my kills are in the cow pens as well, so I leave them just like you.

Looks like I'm going to have to camp out in the pole building if I want to get footage of the eagles up close.

I pulled in there yesterday and one eagle was on the ground in the cow feeding area. He flew almost right away and landed in those trees. I threw two fresh squirrels and a pigeon out there but they didn't come.

I'm glad they're there every time I show up, as I know I'll get some good pics and video one of these days.
