New MTC Viper Pro - Out of adjustment

Hey everyone! 

I just received a Viper Pro 5-30 this week and quickly mounted it on my Crown .22 this evening. I was shocked when I zeroed at 30 yards and how much elevation adjustment it needed to get there.

Once I moved out to 50 yards I was hitting a good foot below the target and used up all the rest of the adjustment only to hit the bottom of the target.

Not sure if adjustment mounts need to be ordered but have never had a scope run out of elevation at this distance.

Use fx no limit mounts then use your turret. Never max out your scope turret. That's bad for the scope.

Had the same thing happen with my first hawk scope. Even sent it back to hawk for repair. Only to hear it was fine and needed adjustable mounts. Been using adjustable mounts now on almost all my pcp rifles since.
