Is there any particular time of the year when manufacturers release/reveal their newest line of airguns? About ready to make a purchase but I'm curious if I should jump now or wait or a month or two to see what's new.

If you have the cash and are ready I would just buy. Other than the low pressure heftily priced skout rifle I don’t think you are going to see anything greatly innovative over what is offered right now. It will just be similar tech with tweaked specs and a new name on it. I used to be heavily into the archery hobby and it was the same way. Big leaps come slow and most years specs were changed, cam shapes altered a little, new camo and a new name and 1k or more was easily siphoned out of peoples wallets each and every year.

The IWA show is were the real airgun goodies come out. All the big air rifle companies do their releases in IWA.

Buy something that is tried and proven. Many of the new models have bugs and need tweaked before they are as reliable as a design that has been around a while.

Often the new stuff is announced but not available for sale for a long time. And, it’s often got teething issues. I’ve had better luck buying the 2nd generation of the “latest and greatest.” Less regrets and early adopter issues that way.
