New member here and new to pcp. I parked my center fire's for the time being and plunged into pcp purely for the economical cost savings and I was surprised at the performance pcp's deliver. So far I have a Hatsan Flashpup 22 synthetic with a BSA scope and bipod. My filling source is a multi filtered yong heng compressor. Now I've got the pcp sweats and I'm eyeballing that new FX Impact M3 for some serious shooting.

Welcome to the "brotherhood" (& sisterhood) & money pit. I really enjoyed the 4 Hatsans I owned but when I got my FX guns (Royale 500 & Boss) I realized there's just no comparison. It'll be a whole new dimension for you. The fit, feel & function of a higher end gun outclasses anything less, as it should. Enjoy!

cost savings with an fx eh ... then with the typical fancy pellets to boot, i dont know about all that ... i picked up a .17 savage and about 8 boxes of ammo for less than the typical mid range pcp setup lol , but that out of the way i get it .. shooting powder burners these days just isnt too wise, those are for 'later' ...

Welcome to the hobby/obsession/addiction. Lots of ways to spend you money and an M3 is definitely a good one. Love myGen1 Impact so had to order an M3 also.

The price of powder rounds have gotten ridiculous but when they started to stay out of stock and the scalpers were raping the bonified shooters then that's when I first looked st pcp and liked what I was seeing although the scalpers have started to do the same with pellets recently. I say us shooters need to tighten our belts and stock up on our ammo while we can. I've bought about seven thousand pellets and slugs just in the last two days so I can keep shooting without worry of running out of ammo.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm impressed with the Hatsan Flashpup especially it being under four hundred dollars. I watched a lot of reviews and most were good with only a few complaints about the safety feeling gritty or sticky and the other was the bolt being stiff and hard to cock. Mine must be a new version as the safety is firm and smooth and my bolt is a hinge lever type that is super shooter friendly and very smooth. I know I'll stay with pcp so I'm gonna try to buy a top notch gun on the next purchase instead of working my way up the ladder of guns and ending up with twenty mediocre guns before I make that big purchase.

Since you've owned one have you had to buy any parts and are parts pretty readily available from the company?

Your making a good choice to buy once and cry once lol! I started out with a marauder and even added a great after market barrel to get more accuracy. It gave me better accuracy but it was still a lower end gun and not really up to the level of Daystate or FX guns. I have FX guns and a Theoben rapid and a Steyr lg 110, and have had no problems with anything so far. Seems like AOA covers Daystate, and I believe Utah Airguns covers FX so it should be easy for repairs if you need anything. You are definitely going to be amazed at how awesome the high end guns are.
