New LW Barrel on Crosman 600

Think this barrel is going to be a keeper. Was cold out today , not best condition for co2 gun. But was eager to see how this new barrel was going to do. Was using dot sight, think scope and warmer weather will shrink these groups. I got the barrel from Henry @ http://www.crosman600repair.com/services . I know one thing, I am not wasting anymore money on Crosman barrels for these 600s. All groups were at 30 feet, some 5 shot and some 10 shot. Best group 10 shots bottom row right of sight in target.

Nutcracker thanks for info on 600. I see that Henry is right here in SC. It looks like he does good work on a 600. How long is barrel?

Twelve Inches. I really like it. He will make one whatever length you want. This is a bull, but he does standard ones as well. I just sent him one of my leaking 600s for reseal & hot valve. Evidently he uses Gunters valves. If that turns out well, I will get a long barrel for that one as well. I wasted money buying cheap barrels , none of them are close to this one or the other LW barrel I have.

What is his turn around time? Gunters is legendary with a Crosman 600. I don't think I'll be sending anything else to California if it's decent.

I got the barrel in about 2 weeks from order. Contact him, he replies to his emails & returns calls promptly.

@Kev, Dec 10 I mailed him 2 600s that leaked. Had him hot valve one & just repair the other to factory specs. Got them today. ( that's fast) I have not tried them yet, but he includes a shot string he runs over chrony. He does things a lot like Gunter did, he even weighs the guns over night to make sure they are not leaking. Thought you might like to know.
