New look for my crown

Nothing too impressive. Just a barrel swap.
Going from 600mm to a 380mm. But MAN WHAT A DIFFERENCE. looks and feels like a completely different gun. I’m so happy with this setup. Still got some good power too. Bullpups eat your heart out!

next put a 300cc bottle on it....i did 8 months ago and have never looked back !!!
Honestly, with the 580 bottle and 380 barrel, it’s super stable for off hand shooting. It’s not super light, but definitely light enough to carry all day. Getting 70+ shots at this power too is nice. Don’t need to bring a fill source with me on every outing.

Definitely how I'd roll if I bought one. I shorten all my rifles!

I do love the crown. Traditional style, todays power. It’s no impact powerhouse, but plenty on tap. With a 380 barrel I can get 18gn pellets going 950fps. Turned it down to 900fps, and super accurate. Very happy with it.
My mk1 does 930fps the way I have it tuned. Quiet, efficient and accurate. Hand ported barrel, 135 on reg

OMG , this thread is killing me. If i were to get into an FX rifle it would be a crown, and it would be a .380.... go away all you enablers! Each rifle in this thread is gorgeous
😉 You know you want to, haha. More recent Walnut stocks have definitely been better than some in past years. I think this is a very early stock I refinished.

Are you guys seeing any noticeable difference in accuracy going from 600 to 380?
No difference. I’m fact, my accuracy went up, but I’m also thinking because I went from the 25.39 monster redesigns to 18gn heavies. They seem to be much more consistent, and shooting them at 900 seems perfect.

My walnut stock is beautiful. I really like the look and the adjustable cheek piece gives it a comfortable feel for the high scope mounts it needs.

@CTairgunner1288 if you want to borrow it to ease your mind, just ask!
