New Look for my Cricket

I have owned this Power Tuned .25 Pup from new for 2 years now. I decided to give it a new look and some TLC. I sent it back to Georgia airguns. I had Charlie install the threaded adapter and Sumo. Ported and polished the transfer port and back down the Reg. to make it more efficient. He also adjusted the trigger to my liking. I installed an Athlon FFP Talos BTR 4-14x44 scope. I will say I was worried about doing this because it was a great shooter from new. But, all I can say is WOW! It is so quiet it makes a Mrod loud. The trigger is amazing. And the accuracy is just as good if not better. It is setup shooting 34gr. Jsb @ 900fps and still likes the H&N Grizzlies @ 900fps. I do have room to turn it up more if needed. 

 I'm so happy with the results. Thank you Georgia airguns and Charlie.

Looking Good!! That must have been your gun I saw when I went by! I left my Mini with him for the similar treatment. Should be able to get it back this week. I’m gonna leave my .25 to be done too.

What kind of shot count are you getting @ 900 fps?

Before I sent it off this time, it was set at 915fps using a 34gr for 36 shots. Now that Charlie ported and polished the transfer port and back down the Reg. and hammer spring, he stated it should get more shots. I have not ran a string through it yet. I may get time to do that today.

We must be related! I have the exact same gun as yours except that I took off my fixed 12 power SWFA scope and swapped it out with a Night Owl and IR illuminator. 

LOVE the gun with the Sumo! Shot a pig a few weeks ago and stoned a boar. What was really amazing was that there was a sow about 15 feet from him and didn’t even flinch! She kept on foraging until she looked up and saw her partner “sleeping”. Couldn’t take the shot because the crosshairs melted on her head (black on black). Shot the boar in the early evening. This was before I received my Night Owl scope. Granted we do have a loud Coqui frog problem that helped mask the shot but I took the shot from twenty yards. This gun loves the heavies! 

Gotta agree with everyone that Charlie is a Class Act and puts out a GREAT product!

Good ol porting and polishing. Its amazing how well that works. Heh, reminds me of the old saying when working on an engine. Especially 2-strokes. "Its the flow that makes them go".
