You're welcome..lol.

I like colored laminate usually better than plain Walnut,I love good figured Walnut better,so good figured walnut is getter harder to get,but I think for a heirloom rifle it is the better choice, but for cheaper grab and shoot I will take laminate.... when I order Custom Stocks I got the Walnut ....in the end choice is great! I do like the blue laminate(y)

Not seeing it listed on AoA if that’s where you placed your deposit. Did they give you a price or timeline? Not yet sure I will get one. Definitely no reason for me as I already have an hw50.
I called and spoke to Jacob? They're getting them in. they already have skus for 177 and 22. No 20. I much prefer 177 for that platform for my style of shooting so i picked that.

He couldn't quote me a price yet because they haven't gotten them in hand. I asked him if I could get my deposit back if it was stupid expensive. He said, "Yes".

BTW I already have a Hw50 too. It's full powered and scoped. I'd love another one with peeps and a little less power for plinking. I have two Hw30s set up that way because it's nice to have one set up with a scope and one with peeps. Both 177.

Fwiw a 22 Hw50 while not my personal cup of tea makes a nice gun. They shoot a bit softer with more power. I almost went 22 on this one but I had one before and the trajectory just didn't work for my style of shooting.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Nice! post some pics when you get. I think they look pretty awesome myself. I like it better than the red one, but it's pretty cool as well.

Thanks I will. The red wasn't for me but I love the blue laminates. I have a blue R9 20 cal somewhere. I'll have to post my 177 R8 in the classifieds to pay for this Hw50.

I’m not one to bash Weihrauch to say but holly molly, why on gods green earth would they chose to laser etch the tube on this rifle. This is becoming their standard practice on their special models. I for one think it makes the rifle look cheap, regardless of the stock they chose to put it in. They could have done so much more with so much less. Classic rifles deserve classic treatments. IMO. Shoot , even engraving the tube on a CNC would have been a better option.
I was looking at the jubilee HW50 in the red laminate and the second I saw the etching, it was taken out of my cart. I’ll wait for an older one to come up with a walnut stock.

Sorry, I’ll pass on this one.

I'm not a fan of the Etched tubes myself but the Anniversary Edition doesn't bother me as much as the giant Beeman branding and Safety Information on the newer rifles. I didn't like the laser etching when they started it on the breeches in 2018. I got over that. Then they started doing it on the comp tubes in ~2020. I have yet to buy a Weihrauch for myself since then. Besides the ugly laser etching the quality of these comp tubes has been pretty bad. They've been using welded tubing and the tubes often still have a groove down the full length of the inside that doesn't get machined out. A grooved cylinder is a severe detriment to sealing and compression. There's been other QC issues with the new guns that I don't have the time to get into. If I didn't have a woody for the blue laminate I wouldn't buy another new Weihrauch.
