To view the forum in a traditional notebook style format

I thought so at first as well. Now I'm liking all the variations of thread display and ability to find things is easier. Growing pains for sure, but it's way better today than last night!

I like it too. It took all of an hour of just playing around with it to see how much potential it has. Give it time man!

Actually, from someone that do not like changes after the initial shock I think it's much better.
I just bookmarked it to go straight to FORUMS when I open it, from there is pretty much still the same but now by clicking on the thread title it takes you where you left off last time you where reading it ( Huge improvement )
About the green balls everybody is complaining about I'm sure they might be able to reinstate them and if not, time to start anew

I really like the new release. It navigates like most other forums, it scales so much nicer, the dark mode is great and it looks and behaves really well on a phone browser too. It's also much faster to load.
Forums are a gigantic pain to maintain and deal with, congrats to the admin on pulling off a smooth migration.

So with the old forum layout option it's something that needs to be selected everytime I'm here? Or is there a way to save that selection?

Nate, you don't have to select it every time. Go to the old style, then delete your old bookmark and make a new one.

Just like having something new; you just have to get used to it. I think it is refreshing with the new look. Good job Michael for the hard work.
