Hey guys I just received my new Empire XS . I noticed the air gauge was on empty so I thought I would fill It up with air before I did anything else , the gun Is not pressurizing I made sure the fill probe was fully inserted I even changed the O rings on It I feel air coming out of the barrel , any ideas before I send It back to supplier ?

Can you hit it with a blast of air before filling? Seems the valve poppet seals better with a burst of air going into the gun vs a slow filling.

Try cocking, then fill.

Thanks guys . I tried cocking the gun no change , I took the hammer spring out and sprayed some Balistol In to the valve block , still didnt want to pressurize so I hit the thing with a rubber hammer , Hey presto gun filled up with air and looks like Its holding .

Good news! Used a similar trick, striking gun butt on large book while filling with compressor, to make valve close. Like JoeDirt says, quick air blast from tank, works too, if you have a tank. Noticed Owner's Manual for my Vulcan 3 states to cock gun, leaving sidelever extended, then fill. WM

Mine came with air in it from the other side of the world ! No problems with mine, so far.

how is it handling now? i'm trying to purchase one but they're hard to find. there is a seller here but i cannot PM him. this is no good
