Tuning New Install-Superior Liner and CF Sleeve

I installed a new superior liner and CF sleeve in my .22 MKII Impact today. Very pleased with the 50 yd results. After the sight in shots, all were in 5 shot groups using 18.1 JSB's with Avg velocity of 912. Had a slight headwind so I will blame the flyers on that. If I could get my scope to stop wiggling around I believe this thing would put all of em in one hole. If not raining and windy I'll try the same at 75 yds tomorrow.

Question is should I index the barrel and try again or is this about as good as it is going to get?

Looking pretty good to me especially with wind. 

75 and 100 yds will tell you more

There were definitely more fliers before with original liner and no CF sleeve. I'll have to shoot it more to tell if this set up is better or if I was just having a good day.

Wind is no joke. Even on my .30 group sizes will double from dead calm to gentle breeze. The carbon liner is the way of the future even if it doesn't improve accuracy since it is so much easier to deal with. It's a no-brainer at the cost.

Indexing the barrel may not help with accuracy, but will get your liner shooting at the highest point. You could also choose to index for accuracy and not flight path, but most people just go for the highest point. My liners shoot about an 5-8" circle at 50 yards when patterned 360 deg. Regardless of what you decide to do, definitely mark you liner so you can re-install in the exact same position. I've been able to pull the liner, and even entire barrel assembly and be within 0.1-0.2 mils at 50 yards after putting it all back together.

The accuracy looks great try adjusting your scope so you are not blowing holes in the target at 50 yards you could shoot for a dot the size of a pellet, Aim small .
