I just got my new impact and notice ripples on the bottle if you run your hand the length of it. It has them from the threaded end to the end of the sticker, then it is smooth the rest of the way. It's not really visible but you can feel it. I never had a bottle gun before so I don't know if it is normal or not.

They are way smoother now than they were 2 or 3 years ago, they had dimples and ripples all over, I think everyone questioned it? I kind of think they look cool now.
