New HW95 in .22

I received my new HW95 from AOA about a week ago but didn't have a chance to scope and shoot it until today. Put a Hawke Sport 3-9x40 on it, little bit of blue lactate and took it out back to shoot. Whew, this gun shoots sweet. And, never before, but when I shot it, it was exactly on target without doing any adjustments to the scope. First round was in the bull, second and subsequent pellet obliterate the bull at 25 meters. I have been shooting a Diana 34, which is a nice rifle, but nothing like this HW95.

Congrats. Should be a good shooter for sure. I have a very similar platform in a tx200mk3 in .22. Sounds like yours doesn't need it but I put a vortek kit in mine and it greatly improved my accuracy. The stock spring on mine was recoiling very inconsistent and opening my groups up at 20 yards. With the vortek installed everything tightened up downrange. Im sure you will love your new rifle.

That sounds pretty rare being sighted in just like that! The HW95/R9 was the game changer for me, much to the detriment of the local ground squirrels. Enjoy your new rifle!

It's so incredibly rare that this is the first time I've ever seen it. I typically sight in at 25 meters with a large target so I can see where I'm hitting and make the adjustments. No need this time and I suspect it will be my one and only time!

I picked one up in 22 a few months ago also ....what pellet are using ?
