New Huggett for Bobcat .30 Mk 2

I took off part of the day today since my gun was being delivered by UPS. I didn't want it sitting out in front of my house for hours before I get home. Anyway it's back!!! I have to say it looks awesome and works great.

The mark 2 has female threading in the inside of the shroud, and they use an adapter to mount the moderator which is removable.

I know some of you think that AOA bonds them to the gun, but this is not true. I talked to one of the great sale people from there and found out that it is Daystate that bonds them to the shroud before shipping to U.S.A. If you get one put on by AOA it is not bonded, however you are required to ship your gun to them to get Huggett mounted. This is for two reasons. One they mount and test fire gun to ensure accuracy and that the pellet doesn't clip the internals, and two they only ship these with the gun at the same time. This means either buy a new gun and have it done at purchase, or send your gun back to them and have it installed.
This process was very quick and easy and I highly recommend having it done.

As for the sound I do not have a meter, but It seams to be a little quitter than the .25 marauder. I would say that it pretty good for a 80 FPE gun. I will update as I use this more.

Lund2025Hi Dave did you notice a big difference between the stock barrel? I have a Bobcat .25 mk2

Yes It helps a lot. The sound I hear from the gun is a metallic pa-chink. I shot the gun with my father about 10 yards to my left and he said It didn't seem very loud to him. I have heard that it does seem more effective on the bigger calibers like the 25 and 30 . I know it adds a bit of length but it really doesn't bother me that much. If I had to do it again I wouldn't hesitate.

You can also look up Neil with Clague air strippers. I have heard his is slightly quieter but it was also a little longer, so it may have an extra chamber to dissipate the air.
