New Hikmicro Alpex Scope

There is an event happening on Facebook for the reveal and with the title it suggests it’s obviously for the Airguns

I had heard hints of it being lighter and possibly no LRF from other forums, I think it will be a great airgun scope if that is the case.
The only gripe I have with my Alpex 4k LRF is the weight.
My only other wish would be to have a removable micro SD card, which the Alpex only has an internal one. But it is extremely easy to download to your phone via the app or a USB cable to a Mac or PC.

That's about the only problem that I have wit

Agree. In my case I don’t own a computer so I appreciate the ease of downloading straight to my phone. The lower weight should be a game changer. Really keen to see that.

@Ezana4CE - No it does not. You focus via the ring on the objective lens. Auto-focus would be great! What it also has is an fstop control to use in light and dark conditions which I have not seen on another NV scope. It has been really helpful in bright sunlight. I'm sure you noticed in the video that I zoomed in and the focus remained tight!

@Pfddi I did notice that. It looks great. How’s the NV clarity? Is it somewhat comparable?

@Ezana4CE - Yes the live image quality is very close to the video. There is more loss of clarity at 28x, but it has been very usable during hunting. I have it mounted on my EVOL .22 15: and had it out hunting the other day. My longest shot was 142 yards and it was very clear. I didn't need to zoom in to the 28 power to have a good clear shot. Having that wide range from 3.5 to 28 really makes it useable in all my hunting scenarios.

I'm trying not to order the new "lite" now but I may lose the battle to a "made for airgun" digital scope!

@bchannell - On the hikMicro, unlike some other brands, I have not seen the reticle get offcenter as you zoom in and out. Take a look at the video I posted and you can see that the reticle does not move when I zoom in. When using the LRF with the BC you can set the reticle to be either centered or have it add the secondary positioning reticle to the main elevation tension.

Unfortunately, no one sells them in the USA. They are remarketed by AGM and Infiray. I got mine from Airgunheaven in the Netherlands. I have asked them if they will stock the new Lite as I really would like one of that form factor with the same quality of the big 4k that I have.
