Hi, Im John im addicted to SHOOTIN, Im on the 12 gun program,,,
ok, Ive been shooting a BP original 45-70 trapdoor in competition for 4 yrs, along with some other BP rifles, some pistols and in 22 matches,
Ive been shooting squirrels with my 1322 for a year, and have been saving up for the last 6months for a TX200 or HW97, spent some time with one of the guys at the arizona store
and got a lot of laughs, as i used to live there and he mentioned i was NUTS to be up here in Maine,,,he's right,
anyways he was out of TX;s out of HW97's pretty much out of everything .22,,dagnabbit,,, and didn't want to wait until march,
they were/are having some sweet sales,,sadly i missed it, on the .22
almost got an R9 but ive got just this once to go high end, so i splurged, still might get an R9
so I went to the other place "PA" where ive bought 1322 stuff, and looked around, this morning I bought a HW97k Thumbhole
and i joined here, and posted in the scope section my scope questions,
but im wondering is there much difference in "follow through", bench shooting, and standing, sitting,(artillery hold ive read about) than with my 45-70 trapdoor,
cause i hold the forend on her very gently when i shoot, standing or sitting,, bench its just up kinda snug and level no more, and it rocks my world when she goes off.
I get springers bouncing both ways,
just wondering about the comparison and if it will come easy or hard for me,
cheers
John
