Thanks! It’s unfortunate we are in that kind of world. I just have a used gun that I don’t want anymore and I can’t sell it on eBay because it’s over .25 caliber. I figured a forum might work, but I don’t need the money, so getting to know people for a month before I can list an airgun is more work than it’s worth. Any idea of another 3rd party site where I can list it? Any help is appreciated!

I agree, it's unfortunate we're in that kind of world. Scammers ruin it for everybody, you won't believe how they try to rip us off. Having this forum of like-minded hobbyists affords a kind of protection through familiarity, doesn't mean I'd buy from every member, but would not hesitate with others. You're better off trying to sell it locally, through Offer-up or Craigslist. Cash only FTF. Saves on shipping, no 3rd. party handling it. No fees. Maybe meet up at a local range to test shoot before buying.

You probably should give it try lmao. This place is actually a lot more useful than just being a classified forum.

I successfully sold an airgun and purchased an airgun accessory here after roughly a dozen posts so don't let anyone tell you it's not possible. Some people believe seniority matters and will always try to drive away the new guys.

There are other places where people primarily buy/sell/trade firearms but airguns and even exercise machines have been known to change hands at such sites.

Almost any place that is primarily a "forum" with a classified section will have some kind of hurdle like minimum post count but they also almost always yield the best sales price if you can establish the trust required.

Good luck selling anything on here, a lot of tire kickers, people wanting things for nothing, scammers, etc… if I had $10 for everybody that said I’ll take it I could retire lol. Just seems like it’s impossible to sell lower tier airguns on here anymore and all people are looking for is crack head specials on fx’s and daystates
