New Hatsan Factor BP 30 cal.

I just took delivery of a New Hatsan Factor BP in 30 cal.
I have other Hatsans , so I knew I would need to Give it the once over.
First the crown. It is not up to my specs. as a prior QC in the Aerospace industry, and as a gun owner.
Sooo, i honed it using some valve grinding compound followed by some JB bore paste.
Now it is as perfect as can be under the bore scope!
Next was the hammer tension which I put at halfway.
The trigger was terrible, and the Owner's manual sent is not representative of the Normal quattro trigger.
The adjusters are located about 6 inches rear of the trigger and accessed through holes in the stock. They are not on the trigger!
I left the #1 first stage adjustment as is. I adjusted the #2 screw , which removed the unnecessary creep before break.
#3 screw was adjusted to a nice 2# pull via my trigger pull guage.
I have owned other Hatsans, so I knew they were not out of the box ready to hunt with.
I mounted a WestHunter 4-16 SFP scope with fine graduations and 1/10 mil, adjustment, on top of a -10 base.
First shot at 33 yards, 12" high and 6" left, second shot 1" high 1 " left, 3rd thru 7th shots 1 ragged hole with JSB 44.75. Pellets
Now I'm ready to shoot some sage rats, we're leaving tomorrow for a week! Yeah! Offline and out of touch till then!
And a Blessed and Happy Father's Day to you, my brothers!
