Went out early this am to check Zero on my new rifle. It was shooting about 3+" to high at 25 yds so I dropped it down to where she was shooing about an inch high, I'm shooting 10.2gr Kodiaks and they seem to group good with this gun and keep their velocity well as you guys know.
Well I'm sitting on the truck tail gate and what lands but a sparrow about 15 yards away, I take aim and let him have it ... It hit him with a resounding smack and he was dead before he hit the ground ... not a twitch. Went over and the shot was right where I wanted it, a solid mid body shot.
I roamed around a bit but left shortly after as the day was perfect but a chilly 26 degrees, I'll be back in a few hours ;- )
