Hey yall my names Rye from CT usa, and im new to this air gun forum. But certainly not new to air guns! Been shooting them all my life! I have a diana p5 magnum in .177 (best pistol I ever had) but the sight recently broke when I brought it to a local gunsmith :( I also have a 100th aniversary webley tempest in .22 and a recently acquired gamo fusion gen2 in .22 that I have been absolutely loving! On my horizon is a hy score 802 repeater in any caliber. I am so amazed that with all the modern repeating rifle technology we have that no company has made another repeating spring pistol. Don't yall find that weird? Anyways since I can't post a classified yet****

***** I'm also in search of a good airgun ssmith for another webley tempest I own that has broken. Everywhere I go to every gun smith they say no. Very frustrating.

Besides air guns I love cars and have been a mechanic for over 10 years. I recently went back to school for investing and have been working at a wealth management firm. It's been a great learning experience and for once in my life im feeling confident in my own finances! What a crazy turn of events as I never saw myself doing anything white collar haha. Im 32 and can't wait to see what else life has in store. Thanks for having me here yall can't wait to make some fellow air gun friends!

Hey thanks for the welcome! And thank you for the airgunsmith suggestion. Unfortunately I had already reached out to baker and was told they could not help and were not sure where to point me(not sure why). Today I received an email back from pyramid airguns. They showed my email to their top gunsmith explaining the problem (tempest was misfiring on its own very dangerous). And although I never expected pyramid air guns to help me they said if I send it in with a part it needed they are confident that it could be repaired! So I have already ordered the suggested part and then ill be sending it their way. Since so many others have turned down fixing this pistol I figured I might aswell give it a shot. Fingers crossed!

So sorry to hear about your father, my condolences. Im very lucky mine is still around. Im actually trying to teach him how to shoot with me now that he's retired lol. We never did much together when I was a kid but its never too late right? Im so sorry for your loss. It must be hard to deal with all the things that are left behind. Especially things and items that were well loved.

I've had more than 10 posts for like 2 days now even made a thread about it and mod moved it lol and still no access to classifieds or private message....truly not sure why.
