Hello everybody i want to get into the pcp and looking around for some good deals that dont break the bank,anyway here is a scope i came across

Burris 4-16x50mm Fullfield IV 6.5 Creedmoor Scope​

and was wondering would that be a good fir for pcp,looking to shoot 75yds tops,but 50 will be probably very common
i dont know the first thing about optics,always been a bow hunter so i figured better ask you guys than getting generic chat gpt answers

No. The reticle is specific to a 6.5 creedmore trajectory.

Try not to get scopes with caliber specific or "BDC" reticle. Because they're designed for centerfire or some rimfire calibers specifically.

@dabaka What’s your budget for a scope? Do you have a preferred magnification range? Do you know if you prefer first focal plane or second focal plane scopes? Do you know if you would like an illuminated reticle to aid in shooting in low light conditions?

The scope that you have indicated actually also come in MOA, sans the "Creedmore 6.5" reticle. But you should confirm that for certain.
It's also slightly more cash at $468.
Looks like you're into the side focus, which is a desirable item.

Another issue to consider is that it has a 1" tube, most now are 30mm, giving a slight edge in turret click, being more than a 1" tube can give. Something to consider. You'll need to know the height required to clear any items such as magazines on your rifle, that will determine which rings to buy as well.

Also like to add that I believe Burris made that scope sfp, so at any magnification other than the "1:1" designated magnification those increments will change in scale. Which can really cause confusion someone who might not know.

I use athlon talos with mildot on my stuff . Im wishing athlon would add mildot to there more affordable neos line . They probably get more airgun business if they did . Especially the side focus neos for sure .

I avoid anything with BDC. Even if you had a 6.5 Creedmoor, are you shooting the same length barrel as it's set up for, the same grain bullet. If you use a longer barrel and heavier bullet than, say, what that scope is designed for, then the BDC is useless. But let's say you already have the scope, then use it and just figure out what all those mean for you and your set up. But just know if you change pellet weight, or let's say to slugs, you'll need to relearn what all those hash marks mean. I tend to like something like a mil dot reticle, keeps it simpler.
Also, and this is huge, make sure to get a scope with parallax as low as you plan to shoot. Very unlikely a 6.5 Creedmoor scope will have any parallax down to 10-15 yeards.

I recommend considering Hawke AirMax 4-12x50 AO as a comparison. I have several on my PCPs and their ladder and dot reticles provide more than enough increments for 25 to 160 meters.

Since I don't know your preferences or type of shooting, I can only suggest that this may be an option.

I've had (and still have) a number of other scopes, including AirMax30 6-24x50SF with the AMX reticle. The 6-24 lacks sufficient elevation range when at 24x so I only use that for spotting. Likely, someone with a younger brain could make use of the 24x at shorter ranges but I find that I am better with the same scope on all my guns. I switch guns frequently when at the range and using a different scope makes for issues in coping,

*Edit: The cross bars on the lower reticle help a lot in judging windage when shooting beyond 115 meters in the wind.

This is another rabbit hole all in itself. I would recommend watching the videos posted to learn some basics about scopes. I will say you certainly don’t need to break the bank for 75 yards and in. You just need to decide if you want to try first focal plane or second. Mil or moa. It’s also good to find a model that parallaxes close range. Those factors will help narrow choices a bit. You will find a bunch as today there are numerous brands manufactured in the same places in China that are basically the same scope with slight tweaks. Makes it hard to determine where to spend your money. The good news is you can get a pretty damn good scope for under 250 bucks today.

If you go springer then your best off going with a brand that offered a no question asked lifetime warranty.

Also on the reticle .. like to me that air max is too busy for my use . Just uncluttered plain'ol mil dot does all i need ( preference thing )

First , Welcome to the best A G N . i would suggest any of the Athlon line , and start with a middle of the pact scope in SFP (second focal plane ) the retical stays the same size and so makes it easier to learn . Plus you said 30 to 50 or so yards so you do not need a FFP scope

FFP or SFP Thinking about a change

No matter what you choose, there is no free lunch. Everything has a tradeoff. I like them both but, most of my scopes are SFP!

I second the Hawke scope recommendation. They are great scopes, have a lifetime warranty and work very well on air guns.

I really like the 2-7x32 Hawke Airmax front AO. Small, lightweight, bright, great reticle and pairs perfectly with the BKL droop mount. I usually shoot at 4x or 6x out to 100 yards.
