good reason to shoot more !Thanks, I really like it. The only problem is I'm a terrible shot!!
HaHa! That's probably the truth, I seem to get in trouble with momma a lot for that.@oldguyfla - Welcome to Airgun Nation. Have fun poking around here. PCP's are a good rabbit hole to go down. Compressors have really come down in price.
Set a budget, you are going to need it![]()
I do need a lot more practice but my real problem is I'm 78 and both of my hands have developed tremors. So I shoot all over the place. I will be looking for some ideas on how I might steady them.good reason to shoot more !
Maybe a local gym could suggest exercises to help ? a program named Silversneakers is free and most exercises places honor it , just a thought . EDIT i will be 80 in a few days i shoot pistol rested on a sand bag . ( old shirt sleeve cut off and filled with dry navy beans and sealed with nylon zip ties or just tied with string )) actually sand works better . I use resale shop small child's used jeans legs .I do need a lot more practice but my real problem is I'm 78 and both of my hands have developed tremors. So I shoot all over the place. You have be strategic about getting your wife involved.HaHa! That's probably the truth, I seem to get in trouble with momma a lot for that.
You may need to try smaller target's from a good rest. The best set up is one that supports the barrel and the grip.I do need a lot more practice but my real problem is I'm 78 and both of my hands have developed tremors. So I shoot all over the place. Thanks, I live in the country and I'm not really sure where the closest gym would be. I will research Silversneakers. I was thinking along the sand bag idea. in a kids resale shop look at small thin jeans maybe 5or6 year old type slim leg jeans then just cut to length zip tie one end and fill , longer maybe 11 inch and shorter maybe 8 inches 6 inches is too short for a sand bag. , and you need at least 2 inches on each end to tie off .Thanks, I live in the country and I'm not really sure where the closest gym would be. Yes it would take some planning but a John Wayne pistol won't work in this house. My wife wanted to shoot one time. One time, Nothing was hit so that was the last time. Now when I ask if she wants to shoot I just get a laugh. You have be strategic about getting your wife involved.
Mine really liked a few things I got her especially her John Wayne pistol.

Thanks, yes believe I need to build something to rest the gun. Got to work on how to go about it. I don't have an old Volvo! You may need to try smaller target's from a good rest. The best set up is one that supports the barrel and the grip.
My favorite pistol spot, shooting from the old Volvo 940's roof.

Welcome Dan. I'm new here too and have been impressed by responses I've gotten so far from other members. All helpful and genuine which is great. I consistently got hits from this forum for all the questions I have been researching so I decided to join.Hi,
I'm Dan, and just getting started here. My last name is probably pretty familiar here (Schofield). I'm just looking at getting those 10 posts behind me. I found this forum while looking for replacement co2 seals for my colt defender. I see there is someone here that sells them. Has anyone used those seals?

More good info thanks, I also need help while moving around after pests. This morning I was out chasing sandhill cranes away, they really tear up the yard.
