New guy here, just saying hi

More good info thanks, I also need help while moving around after pests. This morning I was out chasing sandhill cranes away, they really tear up the yard. I maybe hit one 40% of the time.
check your bird laws The Sandhill Crane is protected by the U.S. Migratory Bird Treaty Act and is a state-designated threatened species.

I don't kill animals anymore , but understand pesting. Maybe a scare crow.
I hear you but living in the country there are just so many different animals here. I have opossums, racoons, rabbits, squirrels, gators, sandhill cranes and every so often a bobcat. There just isn't just one way to target all of them.

Yes that is true but you are allowed to chase them if they are destroying your property. All they do when hit is jump in the air and take off. Usually returning later.

I do need a lot more practice but my real problem is I'm 78 and both of my hands have developed tremors. So I shoot all over the place. I will be looking for some ideas on how I might steady them.
Have you tried a magnesium supplement? I find that as I age I need magnesium everyday for my mood and to keep my muscles relaxed. I take both magnesium and calcium. A good chelated form of magnesium such as Magnesium malate, magnesium glycinate, and magnesium taurate are all good forms. Stay away from the magnesium oxide and magnesium citrate laxatives that are typically found in the drug stores as these are not very effective.

Another good possibility is a sports supplement called "zma" that combines zinc and magnesium aspartate, both in good absorbable forms, along with a little bit of vitamin b6. Very calming for the nerves and settling. You can probably find this in your local sports supplement shop. I buy my stuff from Amazon.

Good luck,

Feinwerk

I love my airguns and take good care of them. I used to take care of the elderly when I wore a younger man's clothes. The oldest people I took care of all drank herbal tea , and sun tea as it flushes the toxins out of the body.
I was taking Mag oxide for leg cramps. It was causing them after I stopped they went away.
Use better magnum like above post very good advice.

Hi,
I have heard a lot of talk about most people don't get enough magnesium. I take a multivitamin and a protein shake each morning and it looks like I'm in pretty good shape except for the magnesium. I will definitely look into getting more. Thanks for the heads up on this topic.

Hi,
Sounds like magnesium is something that needs addressed. Thanks for the input!
