Has anyone here had experience with a Benjamin trail np. The book says it takes awhile to brake in. Does anyone know how much shooting it takes. And it is shooting high at 8 yards with the site all the way down so I moved the target back to 15 yards and it is about 6 inches high. I’m confussed.

Most break barrels take 300 to 500 shot cycles to break in. That gun doesn`t have iron sights if I remember correctly so you are referring to a scope?

It has adjustable sites. And i dont think i want to bend a barrel. I think i will give it a few hundred rounds.

If the back site is all the way down, that will make the gun shoot high. Raise the the back site and it should lower your POI. The gun should group well at 25 to 33 yards when the barrel get leaded up. Dave

Thought droop was down & swoop up?
Any chance you let go of the barrel while cocking, a slam fire/shut will bend a barrel easily in many cases.
I've bent many springer barrels ( correcting droop ) mostly on Germain rigs but it is easily done and if not confortable a gun smith ( if they'll touch your airgun at all) would have no issue straightening a barrel for little $$.
