RTI New gun!

I just got a brand new .25 cal RTI Mora Sniper. I sighted it in at the range and took it out hunting the next day.
My first squirrel was at 97 yards then a rabbit at 100 yards then another squirrel at 155 yards. I ended up getting 12 more squirrels most being around 50 to 100 yards.
This gun was super easy to setup and tune. I am currently shooting 45 grain ZAN hollow points at 100fpe and I’m getting 50 shots.

Jesus dude that's fantastic! Beautiful view!

Incredible.

Quick question. We all have different levels of physicalfitness. My guess is that your rig is about 15 lbs with the scope, bipod, moderator, slugs? I'm curious: Do you move around much when hunting with that rig or do you find a spot and mostly just stay put while picking away at the targets when they pop up?

I have a similar set up, weighs just under 17 pounds. I have trucked through the woods with it and it's not ideal, even with a sling. I'm having to drape it across my shoulders and hold onto a leg from the bipod to have it be 'comfortable'. I'm fairly fit and work out 3x a week. It gets heavy. It's definitely a long-range field kind of gun where you can set it down for a bit. You'll definitely want to look for a lighter weight set up if you're going to be trucking through the woods.

Thank you. Appreciate the insight. It looks like an amazing setup indeed.

Thanks Ultralight. Just got my 25 Mora sniper and set it to 910 for 50 grain Alteros and 1000 for 38 grain Griffins. Off to the range for the first time tomorrow
I take it slugs are different from pellets which I use. I don't think a lot of pellets would be accurate around 1000fps though I would love to push my pellets to that speed. But slugs are different presumably due to the shape.

You have a fine PCP.
