i have not been out Hunting of late due to work and family commitments, but I have managed to spend some time browsing for parts to build up a Theoben Rapid 12.
finally got the Hammer Spring guides and new Trigger guard in the post today so took it all apart and fitted the new guides. Running it over the F1 Chrony it was showing 10 ft/lb, so the addition of a simple plastic washer made from an old credit card soon had her at 11.7 ft/lb pretty well every shot.
below is the new gun .. All parts sourced from classifieds to build her
went out and did a zero on the scope with .20 Cal JSB pellets and got her pretty close .. Really need to spend some time and see what pellets she prefers
took this rabbit at 45 yards, shot slightly lower than I normally get but this was one of the first shots with the Rapid 12
cannot deny the shot was clean tho, plenty of brain jelly from the ear
