New gun case

Pelican Vault V800 Double Rifle Case, price ranges from $150 - $200.

I just did this, and the case feels huge ... making me feel compelled to buy things to fill it up!

And while I have wire cut my rifle cases before, there is so much space, I wonder how much trouble its going to be when I sort the pattern.

@steverosenlund has the right idea. $200 does seem high for foam, but it is going to take me hours to cut my Pelican case just right. Maybe I wont this time!

Took me around 45min or so to get the measurements and get things set. Over all for what I have into the RedWolf, a decent insert that will protect my investment is a good thing. The foam from these guys is suppose to be much firmer and not harm the rifle with moisture.

You’re right. The foam is very different than Pluck foam. You’re gonna love it.

Finally got it finished. Upgraded my FX 700mm case so the gun will fit without taking off the moderator.
Plano 42”. Changed out the pluck foam to Kaiser foam. Also added some color with tool box layer foam. I think it came out pretty well.
