I filled The Fortitude back Up to 2000psi, and shot it yesterday 20rounds, it was raining outside, I was under my car port shooting at about 60F degrees shooting Crosman 14.3 domed ultra magnum pellets. Then I filled it back up to 2000psi, and it held overnight. So I ill get about 500 rounds through it, and fill back to 2000psi, then do a one week leak down test, and see what happens. Since I imagine Crosman will probably be running a skeleton crew, might as well give the Fortitude a Good thorough test. I inspected the Baffles and shroud cap for Pellet Clipping, None, Cleaned the Barrel pulled 20 oiled patches, through and 10 dry ones, Barrel was Very dirty, Barrel was Much Dirtier, Gritty when pulling Patches through, Dirtier than my Synrod or Prod was, But the barrel Looks Clean Now. I Straightened the Barrel band, as it was way off, to the Left pulling the Shroud/Barrel that direction, and took out all of the Slop and there was a Lot of Movement/slop between the Barrel Shroud, within the Barrel Band, the POI would have been all over the place this way, I was surprised how much movement there was in the muzzle end of Barrel, when I had the shroud off, and i was Just as surprised at the amount of Movement in the Shroud within the Barrel Band, This was a LOT of Movement here, I have Zero Movement Now, so should be better POI stability than it was, But No reference as I didnt shoot it that way with a sighted in scope. I have Not yet done the trigger, as I want to see how this gun performs without me Opening the gun in case it has to go in for a return/replacement. I checked the Foster fitting fill probe, to make sure it was tight and it was, and check the Gauge and gauge block also for tightness, they were tight. Maybe a oring needed to seat or lube spread? I am Hoping the leak is gone. But I will follow up for those interested in a New Fortitude Gen2.
