Well my Gauntlet arrived today in great condition. My first PCP and probably not the last,
I spent a lot of time looking at reviews from everyone, so I figured I would give mine.
First off, the trigger is crapola, for now. No adjustments to it at this time. Really gritty feel to it, it will stick along the long take up route, so you don't get a good feel for the back wall. I eventually became use to it. I measured it to be about 2.25 lbs. I will make this better.
Its bolt seemed hard to pull rearward, but seemed to get better by end of shooting. I really have no idea how it's supposed to feel since I was just a virgin to PCP's a few hours ago. Loading was easy, I did double load one time, getting a feel for the whole bolt thing.
It was slower than I expected, but I can live with that. Besides the slow velocity, it seemed to be very accurate despite the gritty trigger.
I have included some pics of chrony session and a target from 30yds,that is 10 shots.
I filled the tank again before chrono time, and achieved around 85 shots before noticing drop off.
Enjoy, and thanks to all for helping me in this process.
