New - FX WILDCAT MKIII BT - Available Now!

I have several bottle and Tube guns. I have the original Wildcat 22 caliber. It will shoot 6 magazines on that one tube tank. It will shoulder well. it will bipod and tripod well. now they're throwing a big bottle on the front which is going to make it harder to bi pod, tripod and throw the balance of the gun forward. There was most consistently accurate gun I've ever shot I just think some things are perfect and you could leave them alone

SO JUST BUY THE MK3 TUBE GUN SEEMS VERY EASY TO DO AS YOU GOT ONE ANYWAYS MORE POWER ADD A POWER PLENUM IF YOUR LOOKING FOR MORE POWER THAT BOTTLE IM SURE WILL BE STILL GREAT OFF HAND SHOOTER AS TEDS SAYS

As usual, FX leaves out us left-handed shooters.

I'm a lefty.

My .22 Compact Wildcat bt arrived yesterday. I'm shooting it just fine. I feel the mag touching my nose, but it's not uncomfortable at all. I don't mind the cocking handle being on the right.

One simple design change of having the mag angle down like the impact would fix the nose touching. I'm thinking someone that is proficient with 3d printing could make such a magazine and a modified cheek piece to make these even better for a lefty.

The Original Iconic Bullpup Infused With More Power & Air!

Introducing the new and vastly improved FX Wildcat MkIII BT. The iconic airgun bullpup, the FX Wildcat, now comes with power and air capacity to handle slugs and heavier pellets in all their various shapes and sizes. The form and function of this epic airgun has made it the favorite off-hand hunting PCP the last 7 years.

The enhanced power comes courtesy of the massive 89cc Power Plenum, nestled in the stock of the Wildcat. This large plenum really caters towards slug and heavy pellets. Effectively extending both the muzzle energy and thus the range in which you can use this new and powerful Wildcat. (Those preferring classic sized pellets are better served by the standard Wildcat MKIII).

Taming this massive power center and refining accuracy, is accomplished using dual FX AMP Regulators. The first AMP regulator is placed just after the carbon fiber bottle (aluminum bottle on the lower priced VP version) to reduce the initial pressure in preparation for the second regulator. This provides less stress as well as allowing the use of 300 BAR bottles. The second AMP regulator allows the precise amount of air needed for consistency with each shot. Combined with the world’s most competition winning barrel system (the FX Smooth Twist X Barrel System), this ensures you have the most accurate rifle possible in your hands!

Complete adjustability is in your hands with the Wildcat MkIII BT! Both regulators are externally adjustable, and the rear power adjuster makes dialing in the right power easy to adjust for shifting hunting situations. A shooter can shift from the higher speeds needed for a long outdoor shot to dialing down the power for a shot taken in a barn or for target practice in the backyard. This rear power adjuster also allows quick micro and macro adjustments to fine tune the desired speed for the projectile you are shooting.

The FX Wildcat MkIII BT comes in three configurations: The Compact with a 300cc carbon fiber bottle and 500mm barrel, The Sniper with a 580cc carbon fiber bottle and 700mm barrel, and the value priced VP with a 400cc aluminum bottle and 600mm barrel. Additional barrel kits in calibers .177 thru .30 are sold separately and are easily interchangeable.

FX Wildcat owners also have the option of using the FX Wildcat Slug Power Kit (sold separately) that allows for even more power and velocities to tailor to heavier projectiles.

The original iconic Wildcat completely changed the airgun world, offering the perfect offhand shooting air rifle. The Wildcat MkIII BT perfectly matches the advances to slugs and heavier pellets the modern shooter desires, ushering in a new generation to the brilliance of the FX Wildcat.

Left handed shooters, does the mag bother you ?

On the above posted brochure .177 cal is not mentioned. On the FX website it is though.
I've also seen some EU based shops are not planning to offer the .177 cal version unless you specifically order one and are willing to wait for a couple of months for them to have it.
Anyone here knows why .177 seems to be left out? Not a gun made for that calibre?
Would appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.

Though the rifle is made in .177, it's more of a special order at the moment for the US market. The large plenum doesn't lend itself well to .177 caliber shooting, but more geared towards heavier projectiles and higher pressures. Shot count on a .177 is high on both cylinder and bottle guns, so the idea is remove that as an option as standard deviations will be better on the standard Wildcat rather than this Wildcat BT. Now that said as .177 slug shooting continues to increase and when we roll out a .177 heavy liner, then the .177 Wildcat BT could be introduced.

Hope this helps!

Left handed shooters, does the mag bother you ?

I'm a lefty and I'm loving my 22 compact Mk3 BT. Yes, the mag touches my nose/mouth, but it's not uncomfortable to me at all. I wish FX designed the mag to point down like they did with the impact and it would be even better.

The cocking handle on the right is really not an issue for me either.

Don't be afraid to purchase one if you're a lefty. Go for it.

Hm, a Maverick in a Wildcat stock. Who’da thunk it?

Smoke and mirrors, really a Maverick in disguise, great, still have the magazine in your fricking ears

Didn't yo Mama teach you anything? If you don't have anything nice to say then yo mouth shut! Mods should keep an eye on this guy. Looks like he's got a history of the same BS.
