Needs a magazine that can switch to the other side to allow left handed shooters a usable cheek weld.

Fx never sleeps they are constantly innovating. I think that the double regulators are cool.

Interested to see how that dual reg system will stand up. Lot of extra parts adding a second reg assembly.

Looks like they have taken a design that was already too complicated and made it even more complicated. The good news, the folks in the NC service department have rock solid job security! Dual regs? I'm reminded of the old saying, "the perfect solution to a nonexistent problem."

Interesting project, but difficult to keep up with FX production. You buy a pcp FX, you pay a lot of € $ for it and what FX does .... it pulls you out of the calpel, as if by magic, a much more attractive novelty than the one you bought with great effort. I love and hate FX Airguns.

I am trying to figure out what niche this fills.....It is great it is a bit cheaper than an Impact but a bit more than the MK3 which puts out similar power in a slightly different form factor.
Dual AMP regs is great IF they work as they should but let's face it FX regs are not exactly known for reliability and consistency.....So if they have issues can two Huma regs be installed (another 200 plus dollars). Seems overly complicated to me and not sure what problem it solves....If the AMP regs are the weak link why not spend development time dialing those in and give us one reg that works flawlessly instead if two so so regs?
Also barrel kits, are they proprietary to the Maverick? Not that most of us swap calibers but I do like different lengths and already have two drawers of Impact, Crown, Dreamline, Wildcat MK3 kits etc....
Will I buy it....Yeah, already have an email out to Jeff at Trenier. The big question is will I keep it......

I’ve had no problem at with an AMP reg. In any of my guns. This Maverick design is actually less complicated than the Impact and the shot count and power are through the roof because of the large plenum and dual regs. I’ve been told the dual regs. also help with consistency. We’ll see next week.I was saving for a Delta Wolf but figured by the time I get a chance to buy one I can have the money ready. I’ve come to the realization that I love FX air guns. I bought a Maverick for my son last night at UA. We’ll how it goes, I’ll give an honest review. Should ship early next week.

Everyone copied impact which got the inspiration from AR15 platform and created the airgun version, FX also took on the ideas of creating a platform. When was the last time anyone made any extra accessories for AirArm, daystate and all the other names. I admit being a FX fanboy and I tried really hard not to be but failed miserably. Then again just like the AR platform I love the flexibility and customizations of FX platforms, guess I enjoy messing up a perfectly good shooting gun and turn it into a different good shooting gun then change something else again.......

Dual regs?? I don't see the reasoning behind that exactly. A correctly designed reg doesn't have issues with large pressure swings. Plus it's another point of failure. The rest of the gun seems like a great idea though!

The reason is that the second reg will be more consistent because it is under less stress not having to regulate 3000+psi. Being that it is under less stress than a traditional reg it’s point of failure is lower. Even with the second reg it still has less o rings than an impact
