Received a new liner today. After I got done doing what I had to do I decided to clean it before the install. Couldn’t push my chord through it so I had to use a rod. Look what was inside. Anyone else experience this?

From Trenier new. I’m hoping that since the last 4 liners I bought all had an index mark on them that FX is testing them. Hopefully shooting a couple felt wads is the thing they do last and this liner was done being tested when the jokers lunch whistle blew.

I would not be surprised if FX is testing the liners, I believe at least for a past one year.
I got two liners from two different sources, one .22x600 STX-A slug liner (1:15.5) and one .25x600 Superior (1:24) about several months ago and the indexing mark was on both liners. I sent an email back to one dealer if it was a return and he didn't know anything about it and assured me it was a brand new unpacked, so assume these marks not coming from a dealer.

Taken out of the box for pics of the target shot with it, only to be put back in the box and sold as NIB....I have bought at least one of those...lol

I believe they mark all the liners like that. It maybe to double check the twist rate or just a mark to indicate it passed inspection. Every liner I ever bought had one. Yes I buy a lot, not as many as some of you. But I have bought a whole lot of liners. Maybe fx can chime in.
