Have to say, I did the same. I'd avoided an Impact for years, despite really liking how they looked.

Decided to get one this past year.

Since then...

.22 Impact

.25 Impact Compact, with larger bottle

.30 Maverick

.35 Impact

Been solid guns and I'm resisting the urge to get a Compact in .177 to round it all out.

Crown looks great. Did have a couple older Royals and a Boss and while the .177 Royale was a dud, the others were rock solid with zero issues.

Congrats, sir!

Great shooting! I was the same way holding out on the FX brand for a while. I purchased my first which was a used Dreampup in .22. Now I have 3 barrel set ups for that dream pup, Maverick in 177 and 22, a new Wildcat Sniper Bottle and just ordered my first Impact M3 .177!!!! Your backyard looks like a airgun fun park. You could charge admission to shoot there :)

My first two high end airguns were a .22 Daystate Renegade and a .30 FX Bobcat Mk2. I shoot both brands in competition, this year I'm shooting a .22 Daystate Red Wolf HP at 100Y BR and a .30 FX Bobcat Mk2 in Extreme Field Target, which are my two main competition disciplines. And I currently have 4 FX airguns and 3 Daystate airguns. Although the Daystates are pretty much "set it and forget it", the tweaker in me likes messing around with all the variables in the FX that are easily externally adjustable - sometimes making them better, sometimes not so much.

I picture Frederick Axelsson as the Borg Leader, saying "We are FX, resistance is futile. You will be assimilated..."

;)

Also - no plans to use the Delta Wolf in competition?

Rob, how do you like your compact? Been thinking on getting a impact or maverick compact in .25.

Hope Mr. Shambozzie will forgive the hijack here, but have to say for me anyway, I love the compact platform. However, I did replace the bottle with the larger bottle, which necessitated a change in moderators.

Here is a pic of my .25 compact setup as it is now.
