I'm at The farms right now so I can't give a detailed reply. But if your D5 screw protrudes from the slider by 5 mm, that should give you maximum compression.
You shouldn't need that much though unless you're going to tune above 140 bar. However that's always a good place to start and once you tune the hammer wheel to your target velocity, you can then reset the hammer wheel to Max by adjusting the length of the D5 screw.
