New FX Air Rifles And Other Product Sightings At RMAC.

Another great day at the Rocky Mountain Airgun Challenge!

But apart from a tone of great shooting, there were also some very interesting new airguns and accessories to be seen.

There's a first sighting of a new FX DreamLine model. The Dream-Pup Bottle in .30 caliber had a long, 700 mm, barrel combined with large Aluminium HPA tank, bullpup stock, regulator and all the expected DreamLine features. Jon from FX Airguns was shooting this one in the 100 Yard competition.

Meanwhile, Giles from the Airgungearshow was shooting a new FX Crown Continuum. This combines a striking black/yellow laminated stock with two interchangeable barrels of the same caliber but different lengths. Giles described it as "Bonkers good".

Also to be seen and fired was the LCS SK-19 full auto PCP air rifle. It's available in .22 and .25 calibers. This selective-fire model can be shot on full- or semi-auto. Plenty of smiles there :)

There's photographs and more new stuff in today's story in Hard Air Magazine. Enjoy!

The LCS SK-19 looks exciting...and (at least the design) is USA origin! I wonder if the FX barrels would fit? If the manufacturer is smart, they make it interchangeable...it already looks like the FX Impact.

Also,a burst-mode trigger (3-5 shots) would be great besides the auto and semi-auto. Hardair mag says it's doable on auto, but would be great to be selective fire.

OK I get a kick out of this statement: RMAC also saw a sighting of the Umarex Hammer .50 caliber big bore air rifle. Brad Webb from Umarex told me that this gun was a pre-production model, hand-build from production parts. He said that full production guns would be available by mid-year.

So if his statement is correct they should be out before July 1 because that is the tipping point for "Mid-Year".

Pardon my scepticism because we have heard new dates for release for 3 years now.

I was lucky enough to get to shoot the SK-19. The option for the burst -mode would be very cool, but it is effortless to run 3-5 shots at a time as it was something I looked for when trying it.

Also worth noting as this gun was first designed and built for full auto. The semi-auto was an afterthought.

Hearing about this rifle made me think how silly who needs a full auto pellet rifle? It is so cool it has gone to my Santa list.

I hope this may help a little,

Eamon
