The VerminHunters, Si and Davy, refer to getting a "Rat Trick" - three rats in quick succession without changing position or stopping the filming. At about 3:30 in the video here, @bob_o, you do something similar... call it a "Grack Trick".

And the pop on those birds, unbelievable. After the first shot I thought the farmer's wife was going to come outside it was so loud. The mics on the cameras don't do justice to exactly how loud it was. The sound on video is muffled and full of bass, where the actual sound was raw and no bass, just a loud crack....and I mean loud! I will try to use my other camera to capture some footage next time out.....it really is unbelievable.

Jumping on the Bob-O train here. Your's are the first videos I look for these days, Bob. Really high standards, great content whether pesting, hunting, or observing Nature's beauty. Your videos are like a classic Moody Blues album ("Question of Balance", "Threshold of a Dream") - they leave me feeling peaceful and full of appreciation for the talents I was blessed to witness. "Blackbird sitting in a tree, observing what's below. A quiet 'chuff', a speeding blur, the blackbird is no more!"
