New forum layout

I guess no format will please everyone. If I remember correctly, the numerous manufacturers were previously hidden under a separate subtopic, which I prefer. The new format creates a lot of scrolling through headings that I seldom use. But, that's just me, and it may be a minority opinion. After a few uses, I've already adapted to it, so it's not a big deal at all. And I appreciate all the hard work that goes into maintaining the site.

I agree with wimpanzee and elh102. I much prefer the old format and would rather see all the manufacturers in a separate drop down menu. Waaaaaay too much scrolling to navigate the main page.

I am in agreement a drop menu would be faster and more convenient

Yup I’m a dinosaur too, I’m resistant to having to learn something new. There’s still stuff I don’t understand about the forum because I’m such a resistant old dinosaur.
Once it bumps into my head enough times I’ll get it, Strelok scares me as well 😁.

I always feel like I’m dead last in class. I was even resistant to trying slugs lol!

Was one of the biggest complaints on the GTA forum back in the day... too many 'gates'. Same thing here.

I think many posts will be lost in the shuffle. I dont, nor ever have owned a Zboria gun for example so I'm less inclined to look in that category. With the old format, if I saw something in the PCP section that was Zboria, I would probably look.

I guess there are advantages and disadvantages. Not resistant to change at all, may not like it, but I'll get used to it.

Now that we got this squared away, is it too much to ask if we could bring back the Off Topic section lol?

Yep, nothing better than looking at some really cool homemade knives then clicking on the next topic and getting into a fight. The Off Topic sub forum was like a part of town that had some nice stores but you could also get caught up in a robbery or drive by.
