I received a long air tube for my .357 evabix Rex and rex p. from Veradium air. I’m going to test this out and then eventually send it back to them for porting / modification.
This is one of the newer tubes that has the stainless finish at the valve end of the tank, unlike the original tanks which were blued. I noticed that the valve cap/top hat has a couple of mm more travel room when it is depressed - that’s almost twice the distance to open fully.
When the tank is topped off at 250 bar this valve is harder to knock open than the original. The tank that came with the gun can be shot with the hammer cocked to the low power setting went full, but the new tank needs the hammer fully cocked to open up when filled to 250 bar.
at some point I need to shoot some strings over the chronograph to compare this valve to the original. Right now everything I own is in boxes because I just moved to New York and staying with my father while I look for a place to live… going to have to start digging to find that chronograph.
