New EDgun Matador R5M

Wow, I should have got one of these a long time ago. Just an amazing bullpup. Just as accurate as my FX, Brocock, and Air Arms, shoots offhand very well, and a very consistent shot string with an extreme spread of 8FPS over 20 shots. I had Brian at EDgun west install the rail and swap out the EDMU for a Wika gauge.

Their consistency, repeatability and reliability are top tier. What caliber did you choose? What pellet and what velocity?

My .177 shooting 15.5 grain slugs continues to impress. This is the most amazing air rifle I have owned. It is truly a joy to shoot and amazing in terms of holding zero from session to session, month to month.

Thank you, mine is in .22 caliber. I'm pushing JSB 18.13gr averaging 953FPS SD 3.7

The top group is a dime and the bottom is a nickel. Air Arms 25.4gr set at 880 fps. No regulator adjustment, just HST.

Hmm I thought I was supposed to get the plastic cheek piece/cover with my new R5M, or am I mistaken?

Called Brian at Edgun West an he did say that I was supposed to get a cheek rest. So I now have a laminate sock, cheek rest, and 2 magazines on their way.

Hi everybody my new stock, cheek piece, and magazines came in. I am truly amazed how beautiful the stock is. It’s a deep sapphire blue with a dark silver gray. I oiled it up and she it a beauty

Be very careful of that Recon 360 bipod. The locking pins are very soft. Mine wore out fast and dumped a gun off the bench. I was really ticked!. I re-shaped them, and they wore thru again in no time.



I threw it in the spare parts bin. Can't trust it at all.
