Hey guys. I just wanted to give a little heads up, a teaser so to speak. I have been testing some new digital gauges for the past few weeks. They are made by a new company and will start selling them in about three weeks. At that time, I’ll share all the specifics and finer details.
Today I just wanted to give you a brief overview and share a couple pictures. The gauges are built on an analog to digital converter for repeatable, reliable and very accurate measurements. First and foremost, the gauges are accurate, very accurate within .5psi. Also very important and super cool is that the gauges are rechargeable. They plug in to a USB and the others end is magnetic, attaching to front of the gauge to charge it. There are 3 power modes: Sleep - 300 days/standby, The second is on, with screen off. The screen will turn on when touched or the gun is shot. Will stay on 18 hours in this mode. The third option is screen always on. I haven’t tested the battery run time in this mode yet. The gauges are also waterproof, :30min @ .5 meter and have a bunch of great features including...the gun’s pressure, shots remaining, average air consumption, shot count, and ambient temperature. After you’ve finished a shot string or are done for the day, you can clear the data(shot count, shots remaining, air consumption, average consumption, etc. It will not clear the start up menu settings though. The screen can be rotated up to 180 degrees so it’s always facing the right direction for ease of use. Another handy feature. The OLED screen measures .5” in diameter. They will be available in brass/stainless and in the following sizes to fit most gun’s; 1/8”BSPP male, 1/8”NPT, M10*1.0 male and M8*1.0 male. These gauges are going to retail for only $99.99. Money well spent and very much worth it in my opinion!
I have no affiliation with this company at all other than that I was asked to test their gauges, use them hard and then to give them the results of my testing and share my honest opinion and review on AGN and social media. There are 25-30 other people worldwide doing the same. I was given these gauges at no cost but I assured the company that I was going to give an honest review...Good or bad! I will not give a good review if the gauges didn’t perform as intended.
I will share the name of the company, contact information, website and other details a couple days before they are available for retail purchase. It’s not a big secret or anything. They are just extremely busy right now trying to get everything ready for the products release. I just don’t want people to bombard them with questions, pre-orders and stuff like that and they agreed.
So far, in 3-4 weeks of testing, these gauges have been flawless. Both reading my regulated pressure and my bottle pressure. They are very accurate and extremely easy to use. They charge fast and seem to hold a charge forever. The OLED screen is easy to see, even at extreme angles, which will be awesome for people using them on the end of air cylinders. You won’t have to hang your head over the muzzle to read the pressure in the cylinder.
That’s all for now. I hope I got at least a few of you excited about these new gauges until I share the rest of the details. I’ve never had digital gauges before, to me they’re a game changer. Accuracy within .5psi, rechargeable, shots remaining, consumption per shot, and being able to dial in my regulator so accurately, amongst other things!!! I’m going to put these on all of our gun’s!
Have a great evening!
