New Daystate Revere FULL field review/Hunt

Hey guys,

Its been a busy few weeks here with much of that time being spent in the remote mountains filming. Several weeks ago I picked up the New Daystate Huntsman Revere in .177 caliber courtesy of Airguns Of Arizona. They sponsored Marley to head out and do a review, she decided to bring me along with her. lol I decided on a .177 to use for a field review because it had been awhile since I've used that caliber and thought it may bring me back to my roots. I did not simply pull this gun out of the box and start filming a review, I used the rifle the first week over 4 days in the backcountry. My goal was to get familiar with the gun and really learn the pros and cons to be able to pass on through a full field review. This gun is simply fantastic and can only hope my video may represent that. I realize that you can't please everyone but this rifle is simply a fine piece of artwork. Here is my adventure I hope some may find helpful.

Cheers,

Dana

That’s a fine shooting gun! Great group at 50 yards with wind and prone off bag, heck yeah! If I get one, it will be in .177 for sure.

The gun shoots really well, that was about the best situation I could come up with considering the location. Tried to eliminate as much of my own error as possible. Ideally a bench would have been much better.

Liked the video. Thanks Dana&Marley. I like your clear and concise explanations. The rifle looks good too. What scope are you using?

Blessings

Thanks for checking it out! I have the MTC Mamba Lite 3-12x42, pretty small and compact. At lower magnification it works pretty well for hunting and the glass is pretty good for running the FTS system.
