New Daystate lead dust collector

Any tiny holes in a suppressor are to alleviate pressure which could otherwise blow it apart, adapter off your muzzle or help with turbulence not affecting the projectile.

I believe every DonnyFL has 1/32” holes in front retainer cap & at back. This really doesn’t have any discernible effect on decibels heard by anyone in area. I actually ported my Tanto’s holes to 1/16” and noticed a huge improvement as it’s on a Condor that sends everything over the 800 fps recommendation limit of Tanto.
I have a simple baffled carbon fiber LDC on my Sumatra and I had to put a 3/8” plastic washer between it & muzzle. The POI is now very close to not having it on at all and it does an excellent job at quieting down the beast neighbors thought was a .22LR or .410. He shoots his .40 & AR’s quite a bit. He just thought I’d switched from air to powder but I told him no, just need a can as it’s not a plinker.
If you won it congratulations.

I was lucky enough to get one at EBR and I am winding if anybody knows anything about it ? It has holes around the end similar to a brake. Thanks for any info on it..

I was there too, know exactly what you are talking about, although I was not so lucky to get one. The unit is called 0db, as in Zero Decibel. They are available from AoA. The one you got is the newest model. It has some improvements from the original. If you look down the center you will see a brake in the middle, I think it helps slow and divert the air/noise away from the exit, while letting the pellet itself go through freely. Looks really well designed if you ask me. Not sure how it would compare to the competition, but I think it should do good, no reason not to just from looking at it. Just use it and see how you like it.
