New Daystate flip magazine

Had a FT match here in Florida today and decided to use the new magazine that I got from AOA two days ago. While in the sightin lane using the new mag I had a double load shot, have to pay closer attention. Used my .177 Red Wolf today and the new 13 shot magazine for the first two lanes and I got nervous about shooting another double load and went back to the old mags for the rest of the match. In winds of 5 to 15 mph and one target of a Troyer number of 64, hit that one twice, for a final score of 35/36. Love my RedWolf. Next match I’ll use my new Rowan single loader although the speed of the magazine is handy in the wind when you can bang off two shots on one target in less than ten seconds when someone else pulls the reset strings..

Just curious - For field target events, why not use the single shot tray? I understand being able to shoot quickly while using the magazine, especially if the wind goes calm, but accuracy trumps all and the .177 Red Wolf shoots best when loading with

the single shot tray.

I just purchased a Redwolf and would prefer to use the magazine. However I will use what’s more accurate. I will do some testing myself and also plan to try a Rowan single loader.

How much more accurate is single loading compared to the original magazine? And I guess no one knows yet if the new magazine will be more accurate

Thanks
