new compressor warrants a new tank

When my old compressor finally gave up the ghost I started researching a replacement for it, ending with a shiny new MCH6 to serve as a replacement. As I hooked the new machine to my aged old scuba tank I found that the old 3k tanks time was up. So this morning I ordered up the 97 great white with all the trimmings.

The old tank will serve as a teathering option for the big bores while the new one servicing the rest.

Now I just need to rig it all up on a wheeled chassis similar to some of the fine examples I've seen on here.

Congrats on the MCH-6! I made a platform on wheels for my MCH-6 by using 2x4. Since it’s kept in the garage I have a dust cover made also.

You'll love the Great White. I love mine!

I was awestruck when I pulled my new one out of the box. (I should have bought one years ago). Being completely empty upon receipt when I got done drooling on it, I hooked it up to the MCH6. It took the compressor 20 minutes and 37 sec to fill from 0 to 4500. I also love the slow fill valve. Never having one hooked to the ole scuba.
