New case for the Cat!!

So after shopping around I decided on the all weather tactical case from Plano,$70 on amazon and for the money I think this was a good choice for me.my.25 Wildcat fits in there perfectly along with my STALKTECH Fury 1 and mount,Simmons range finder and a couple of tins of pellets.the only thing I am not a huge fan of was the pick and pluck foam ,hard to shape it perfectly.i did follow a tip from a guy I saw on YouTube and plasti dipped the foam and it gives it a nice solid feel,as well as fuse the top layer together,so will see how it holds up.if it don't work out I will go to the fabric store and buy a nice solid piece and redo it ,but for now this will work.

Wow - fantastic job. Gives me inspiration for modifying the free FX case that came with my Boss. Cutting foam like you did is the only way that the Boss with a Hugget and scope will be held securely. Then there is plenty of room for pellets, range finder, bipod? If you can figure out how to get a CF tank in there you are a genius!

Looks good. Maybe consider flipping the foam around so the weight is not resting on the scope/mounts when carried by the handle?

Good tip! Never even gave that a thought,it fits in the so snug,I just assumed it did not matter,just switched around,thanks

Hey jfrazier30,do yourself a favor and spray the pull and pluck foam with plasti dip,I did mine and I can't believe how well it looks and feels,as well as fusing all the foam together so you don't have to worry about it breaking apart more with normal use.
