New bottle for the Maverick

Got a new 500 CC bottle ( 300 BAR ) for the Maverick from the far east, it is of the brand Hexger and appear to be fine, at least it look good, feel good, and so far keep the measly 100 bar i have put in it confined.
The bottle are fitted with a valve from Best Fittings in the UK.

Ill go all the way to 300 BAR next week when i have gotten my 12 L bottle replenished, and it is time to shoot the Maverick again.

As the Asians was able to circumvent Danish customs and sales tax ( 25 % ) it have been a pretty good deal i feel

Sounds good, I am thinking of a 300cc 300bar for my Maverick Compact.. I am uk and deal with best fittings all the time..

500CC has always been a really good middle ground for size of bottle. 300CC is great for compacts with a appropriate tune, 480 is ok, 580-700 is just too big for most of us that use the air for hunting. 700 is just unusable in the field IMHO. Most of these bottles I am sure are like tires, made in the same factories just stamped with different names, so the valve is the key, good value, makes a good workable bottle. I am glad you are happy with your setup. Ultimate that is what matters, having it work and getting out and shooting!

Yeah i was contemplating a 700 CC bottle, but decided against it as i shoot .177 so shot count are already good, and generally i shoot tethered too.

I was thing of getting the 300 BAR bottle from Top Guns for my VP. This may push me over the edge and finally upgrade from my 400cc aluminum.

Trouble with longer bottles is getting a ,moderator to fit. I use a tapered model.

I have a few of the 700cc 300bar bottles but have since switched back to 580cc bottles except on my L2. Now that Edgun has the bottle filler adapter, I use the 700cc bottle’s as fillers for out in the field.
As Keyman62421 stated moderator issue’s unless your shooting with an 800mm barrel…

Nice! I love the 700cc bottle on my .22 slug gun, length ends at the end of my barrel, so to me not unusable at all.

I have moved my four FX guns over to 700cc bottles and I am waiting for one to arrive for the DS DeltaWolf. I buy mine from Amazon however they come from China I suppose it’s Drop Shipping they cost £199 each with no shipping free. The exact same bottle sold on line in the U.K. are £255 upto £300 talk about making a profit.

Put a carbon 580cc on my VP. Ways less than the aluminium.
