There supposed to vote on a new bill for Big Bore Airguns in Pa...I sure hope it passes...fingers crossed.....

It looks like a couple of things are on the agenda like lifting the ban regarding hunting on Sundays.

Here’s hoping it goes through for you! It would really be neat to be able to hunt with a big bore airgun here in Washington State, but I doubt it’ll ever happen.

What it took here, was to have folks show up at the meetings where it was being discussed. There was a video on youtube of a controlled hunt that the was aranged with a rep from fish and game and the owner of Air Force airguns, where they took a deer at reasonable range with a .30 texan. Actually had reps from Air Force and Hatsan do presentations to help educate the rule makers on performance. They were not blatantly against it as some would like to believe. They needed evidence that this was a legitimate way of taking game. The big concern was How to make the restrictions reasonably enforceable for the game wardens, and keep idiots from wounding deer with their break barrel Gamos.
